Summer fun: Evanson reunion

A day kayaking in Tibble fork Reservoir.

The view

Pony rides at Thanksgiving Point.

Motorcycle rides on Grandpa's Goldwing

Lunch at the Lion house.

The Evanson grandkids.
Minus Gene - he was not in a sit-still-mood (like most toddlers)
and minus Ivory who was 37 weeks gestation, and minus the other 2 babies that will arrive in October.
So in November there will be 18 in total - and Johnny is just getting started:)

Oliver got in the water. Yes, we are that family.

Homer, Alaska

Our campsite.

Best breakfast ever.

Riding in the side by side.

View of Homer

Quartz Creek

Quartz Creek
I flew from Argentina to Alaska -
with a 6, 5, 3 year old, and a 7 month old - while
Marc enjoyed his return to bachelorhood by working 12 hour days.

Freezing glacier water that Henry wanted to swim in.

Uncle Ron with Rachel.

The pout.

My children are the barefoot ones . . . yes, barefoot near the fire.

Iguazu Falls

For our family that is not on Facebook.
Here are some photos from our trip to Iguazu falls.
The photo above is taken from the Brasil side -
Garganta del diablo (Devil's throat)
It's the first set of falls,

This is the next set of falls - In Argentina

Argentine side - Looking at the Devil's throat from above.

San Telmo

San Telmo is a part of Buenos Aires
On weekends the streets are only open to pedestrians and they tango in the streets.

Argentines love their Mate!

More artwork.

We ate in small cafe and Oliver decided to sit at the bar.

El Obelisco on the famous 9 de Julio street
I think it have 9 lanes - so it takes several lights to cross it.

3 de Febrero Park

A fun afternoon in the city
We rented a canoe b/c it was the only one that would fit our whole family

The rose garden

Silly-faced boys:)

Feburary

My chubby guy

My Valentine's day dates.
I think 3 months old is a little young for the tango show.
The women's outfits were small and tight.

The boys' tennis lessons (wearing red b/c of San Valentin).
They play on clay here which gets all over their shoes and then get all over EVERYTHING.

Daniel at his riding lesson.

Legos

Smores

Corn on the cob

Daniel at his rock climbing lesson

Isaac's turn on the horse.
(They have since quit tennis and riding lessons . . .until Spring)

La Plata

A visit to La Plata (a city 1 hour South of BA) is not complete . . .

without a visit to the children's republic.

Evita built this mini city for the children to enjoy.
Thank you Evita

The boys loved making some hand puppets.

There was also a miniature train and station.
We rode it all around the Republic.

The small courthouse

We couldn't resist a watermelon purchase from the owner of a green parrot.
